Four animations for the Bank on Lloyds campaign, live on digital screens across London in 2026.
The Lloyds black horse, reimagined through a phone screen. Every animation pairs a two-word claim with the fact that proves it.
The brief
Digitas came to Publicis Production with the Bank on Lloyds idea and design system in place: the black horse, reimagined inside a phone screen. The task was to bring it to life as motion, across a series of scenes and every screen format, from D6 portraits to Piccadilly Lights.
The approach
A hybrid pipeline. AI image and video models created the scenes and motion; traditional craft took them to finish, with image editing, retouching, compositing and grading on every animation.
My role
I led the creative execution of the AI work, from the look and movement of the horse in each scene to the final grade. I developed the end-to-end pipeline, designed the workflow, and assembled and led a team of AI artists through to delivery.
The animations
Ten-second loops made for D6 portrait screens.
Across London
From Piccadilly Circus to the Tube escalators, January to February 2026.
AI work that holds up at the highest level.
The animations ran on Piccadilly Lights and screens across London, and were delivered faster and more cost-effectively than traditional animation or CG.
